KALLEN HOME sofas are modular compositions assembled for a specific room — from a compact two-seater for a studio apartment to a 4–5-metre sofa group along the wall of a country house. Module count, seat width and depth, shape (straight, corner or U-shaped) and upholstery — leather, a high-durability textile, bouclé, basket-weave fabric or linen — are all chosen individually for the project. The frame is solid wood and birch plywood; the fill is multi-layer foam of varying density, topped with down on some models for a softer seat.

Questions & answers

How do I choose a sofa size and configuration for my room?

Send us your room dimensions and layout, and we will suggest a configuration (straight, corner or U-shaped) and module count that fits the space, during a free consultation at our Moscow showroom or online.

Can a model’s configuration be changed — for example, corner instead of straight?

Yes — most models have a modular construction that lets you rearrange, add or remove modules, and change the chaise side to order; the available options are listed on each sofa’s own page.

Which sofa upholstery is more practical — leather or fabric?

Leather resists moisture and develops a handsome patina over time; it is cleaned dry, without water or alcohol-based products. Textile and bouclé breathe and feel warmer in winter but are more sensitive to spills, so they are also cleaned dry. Samples of both upholstery types can be seen and felt at the showroom, or sent to you by post.
