Nikolino

The house at Nikolina Gora was planned floor by floor: the ground floor holds the shared zone, where the living room opens into the kitchen and study, while the upper floor keeps the bedrooms private. The clients asked for restrained, contemporary interiors without sharp contrasts, but with texture in the details.

The living room is anchored by a graphite velvet corner sofa with terracotta accent cushions, a colour picked up by the sculptural-leg armchair nearby. A bleached-oak panel conceals the doors to service rooms, and track lighting along the ceiling stands in for overhead fixtures.

Upstairs, the same palette continues at a lower volume — the same warm wood tones and soft textile accents in the bedrooms, so the house reads as one continuous space from top to bottom.
